Mark took over the operation of MaxCare after purchasing it from Dave Griggs, the owner of Dave Griggs’ Flooring America, in 2004. Mark enjoys the work and lots of interaction with the good people of central Missouri. It’s great to be able to go into someone’s home and make a difference that really makes them feel good. Doing the best job possible leads to a lot of personal satisfaction.

Mark, Jessica and daughter Jeani moved to Columbia in 2003, after several visits to Mark’s mother, Kay McCarthy, who was living here and working at the Office of Cultural Affairs. They loved the area and thought it would be a great place to raise a child. Mark is originally a native North Dakotan and has lived in a number of different cities, before returning to the Midwest.

Mark is certified by the I.I.C.R.C. in carpet cleaning and color repair.

Jessica Stannard, President

As a partner in ownership, Jessica has been a seldom seen backbone of the company. She has supported the endeavor in many ways, including going out on jobs, providing concepts for management and marketing the business as well as doing a lot of word of mouth promotion.

Jessica, who grew up in Northern China speaks 4 languages fluently, manages a household and owns and manages a wonderful beauty salon, called “The Natural Nail Care Salon”. She is a talented manager, hair stylist, nail technician and also very skilled in doing permanent facial make-up. Many of MaxCare’s customers also enjoy frequent visits to be beautified and pampered at Jessica’s Salon.

Rob joined the company in the spring of 2009, bringing his upbeat attitude and his skills in carpet repair and leather cleaning. Rob loves knowing that the system he is using gives him the ability to “wow” MaxCare’s customers with an extraordinary cleaning. He also enjoys being able to offer his repair skills so that he can leave your carpet free of any blemishes. If you have leather furniture, he is a certified leather cleaner with years of experience. Rob is also certified by the I.I.C.R.C. in water damage restoration, so should you need help with flood water, MaxCare is fully trained and equipped to help you out here as well.
