The MaxCare Story

MaxCare of Central Missouri was established in 1997 by Dave Griggs, the owner of Dave Griggs Flooring America. MaxCare began with solid training and top of the line equipment, capable of efficiently doing any job, big or small. For the next seven years, MaxCare developed a great reputation as a high quality service provider in the Columbia area.

In 2004 MaxCare was sold to Mark and Jessica Stannard. Mark took over the day to day operations and continued to operate the business out of the Dave Griggs Flooring America store on the Business Loop for several more years before relocating to a new office. Thanks to high customer satisfaction and lots of kind referrals, the company continued to experience steady growth every year.

In March of 2009, Rob Decker, a talented and experienced technician joined the company and a great working relationship ensued. Rob brought new capabilities and a lot of enthusiasm with him. This coupled with his natural desire to provide the highest level of service resulted in an astounding surge in growth during 2009.

Toward the end of 2009 we needed to look for additional equipment to handle this growth. In order to ensure our ability to continue providing the highest quality cleanings we decided to invest in new, state of the art equipment. After an extensive search, we determined that we could best serve our customers using new state of the art equipment. In December of 2009, we made a major investment in a new van, purchased locally, and a Cleanco 560 truck-mount machine, purchased from a nearby dealer. With more services to offer and more capacity than ever, 2010 been a phenomenal year and allowed us to serve more customers than ever. We have got a great thing going and plan to continue for many years to come!
